12/08/11 – First Round
Sporting new pink uniforms, the Kickapoo Lady Chiefs downed the Kansas City O’Hara Celtics 66-28 in the first round of the Stephanie Phillips Classic. Kickapoo will play Pattonville Friday night at 7pm in the second round.
Friday night at Kickapoo resembled Grand Central Station, as both boys and girls Junior Varsity and Varsity squads were in action.
The early game saw the Lady Chiefs JV down Cassville 37-4, and then the Varsity Lady Chiefs took care of business against Pattonville 72-50.

Thursday night saw the Lady Chiefs go 3-0 against the visiting Lady Jackets from Lebanon. Raffle tickets were sold for the Redbird Row Suite package, Cherokee 7th and 8th grade basketball girls were recognized and the 2010-2011 media guides went on sale.
